Amy I. Myers, 53, of Centre Hall, passed unexpectedly from this life on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Born September 25, 1962 in Lock Haven, Amy is a daughter of James C. Bressler and the late Delores I. (McHenry) Bressler of Rebersburg. She was a 1980 graduate of Sugar Valley High School and went on to attend South Hills Business School in State College. Amy was employed as an administrative assistant at Penn State University.
Amy was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall. She was a lover of dogs, enjoyed word search, playing games and roller skating. In addition to her father James, Amy is survived by one daughter Ashley Myers of Spring Mills; two sons, Matthew Spangler of Coburn and Chris Myers of Spring Mills; two sisters, Rebecca D. Warntz (Dan) of Aaronsburg and Cindy Peters of Monument and two brothers, James Bressler (Rose) of Rebersburg and Jesse Bressler (Julianne) of Selinsgrove. She was preceded in death by her mother, Delores I. Bressler.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 10-11:30 am at Grace United Methodist Church in Centre Hall. The memorial service will follow at 11:30 with Pastor Mark Messner officiating. Amy will be laid to rest in Heckman Cemetery in Spring Mills.
