Chase M. “Shag” Kerstetter, 30, of Aaronsburg, passed away on Wednesday January 17, 2018. Chase was born in Lewistown on September 5, 1987, the son of Lester and Jennifer Kerstetter of Aaronsburg and Alice Marker of Lewistown. Along with his parents he is survived by his brothers, Justin Kerstetter (Danielle) of Woodward, Wesley Kerstetter of Centre Hall and Jordan Burd of Howard; paternal grandmother, Esther Kerstetter of Millheim and maternal grandfather, William Marker of Lewistown. Also surviving Chase are three nephews; Dylan, Trenton and Danin Kerstetter, and one niece Novalee Kerstetter, all of Woodward, along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his dog, Rocco.

Chase was a 2006 Penns Valley graduate. He also attended Auto Body at CPI. Chase was employed by BC Home Improvements for many years. He had many hobbies he enjoyed. Hunting, fishing, hotrods, really anything that would get him outside. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Chase was a gentle giant with an awesome personality, laugh and smile that will truly be missed by all and never forgotten. Services are being handled privately by his family at a later date.
