Dallas A. Decker, of Boalsburg, passed from this life on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at his home.  He was 76.  Born November 14, 1941 in Spring Mills, Dallas was a son of the late Perry R. and M. Cordellia “Gobble” Decker.  On October 24, 1965, he married Janet L. Fowler, who survives at their home.

Dallas was employed as the Maintenance Manager at Nittany Garden Apartments in State College.  He was also employed as a small engine repairman by Don’s Power Equipment in Boalsburg.  Dallas was a great handyman and could fix anything.  He always said he was “a jack of all trades and master of none”.   He was also certified in major and small appliance repair.  He loved to hunt, fish, camp and throw darts.  Dallas also enjoyed watching western TV shows and movies, John Wayne being his favorite actor.  He was a member of the former VFW Post #9575 at Potters Mills, the VFW Post #5825 at Pine Grove Mills and a member of the Sons of American Legion Post #245 of State College.  

In addition to his wife, Dallas is survived by two daughters, Mary A. Fegley (Daniel) of Mechanicsburg and Susan L. Decker (Seth) of Boalsburg; one son, Daniel A. Decker of Easton, and four grandchildren, Karen E. and Ashley D. Decker and Cody and Erica Spicer.  Also surviving are siblings, Connie Houtz, Marilyn Baird, Carolyn Davis, Rea Gummo, Sandra Houdeshell, Norine Winn, Eric Decker, Sr. and Mark Decker.  In addition to his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by one brother, Leo Decker.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 19th from 6-9 pm at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim.  The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 20th at 1pm with Pastor Mike Covalt officiating.  Dallas will be laid to rest in Holy Cross Cemetery in Spring Mills.  Contributions in memory of Dallas may be given to Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors Inc., 1117 Country Club Road, Camp Hill, PA  17011.
