Glenn Charles Auman

Surrounded by his family, Glenn Charles Auman, 65, of Spring Mills, passed from this life on January 29, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.  Born March 4, 1949 in Bellefonte, Glenny was a son of the late Herbie C. and Ethel M. (Musser) Auman. He was a 1967 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.

Glenny is survived by one sister, Arlene Swanger (John) of State College; three brothers, Francis C. Auman (Ruth) of Spring Mills, Larry D. Auman (Toni) of Millheim and Harold L. Auman (Debra) of Spring Mills, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Glenny was a special person. He had a fascination with electrical cords and collected them.  He enjoyed Penn State and Steeler football and he loved to listen to music and watch the Food Channel.  What Glenny loved most of all, was visiting his friends at the Frosty Hook, especially Kelli Musser.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-2 pm on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Penns Valley Gods Missionary Church, Rte 45 in rural Spring Mills, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gabriel Morley officiating.  Glenny will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be given to Penns Valley God’s Missionary Church, attn Bonnie Grove, 109 Evergreen Lane, Spring Mills PA 16875 or to the Hope Fund of Penns Valley, Po Box 427, Centre Hall, PA. 16828.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home.
