Leonard was a dear friend during our 7 years at Rebersburg and beyond. We might have harassed each other at times, but we seemed to have a special bond. I had hopes of making the trip north from WV for the service, but God had other plans. We are sorry for your loss, but you will be in our thought and prayers.

I want to thank you Leonard for all of the memories and good times through my lifetime. I especially want to thank you for being a faithful and steadfast companion to my dear grandmother for the past nineteen years. For all of the times you took her shopping, doctor's visits, the lunches together as you watched "The Price Is Right", Sunday suppers, etc., a big hearty thank you from the bottom of my heart. I will also remember you as being the best at your trade as a mason. All of the times I helped you mix "mud"...especially the time we built the retaining wall at the Rebersburg Fire Hall. I have never seen anybody throw up a wall and/or a chimney as fast as you with such precision. These are only a few of such great memories. You will be greatly missed, until we see you and Alma again together in the Kingdom of our Lord. May God bless!

I can't believe you're gone grandpa. It hurts so bad I will never see you again in this life. You will be always be remembered for being the best grandpa ever who would let me comb his hair while I was sitting behind him on the recliner putting bows in his hair... letting me fish with him sitting very quietly so not to scare the fish away .. you're the man that made me love fishing and one of the strongest men I have ever known... I miss you already grandpa...
