Martha S. Orndorf

Martha S. Orndorf, 92, of DuBois, formerly of Centre County, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 17th at DuBois Nursing Home. Born on August 1, 1922 in Madisonburg, Martha was a daughter of the late John S. and Cora Shaffer Rishel. She was a 1940 graduate of the former Miles Township High School. On October 9, 1943, Martha married Earl H. Orndorf, who preceded her in death in 1955.

Martha is survived by two daughters, Lois M. Albright of Centre Hall and Charlotte I. Lamey (Steven) of Advance, NC and two sisters, Mary Gilmore of Millheim and Arlene Decker of Bellefonte. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Grove and Charlotte Rishel; three brothers, Dervin, Harry and George Rishel, one infant brother and one son-in-law, Harold Albright.

Family and friends will be received from 10-11 am on Monday, December 22nd at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Woodward. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating. Martha will be laid to rest in Woodward Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Martha may be given to Trinity United Methodist Church, Po Box 157, Woodward, PA 16882. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim.
