Phyllis concluded her journey in this life on December 18, 2017 at the age of 107, leaving behind her one and only daughter, Linda Snyder. Family and friends held a Celebration of Life for Phyllis at the Rebersburg Emmanuel United Methodist Church with Dr. Barbara Yorks officiating.
