Randall W. “Peachey” Musser, 89, of Aaronsburg, passed from this life on Monday, July 11th at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte. Born March 2, 1927 in Madisonburg, Randall is a son of the late Boyd A. Musser, Sr. and Marion Anna Merryman Musser. He was a 1946 graduate of East Penns Valley High School. On October 1, 1951, Randall married Grace I. Pressler who preceded him in death on December 20, 2012.
Randall began his employment as a pole setter/lineman for Penn Line Services in 1951 and continued until 1976 when he was injured on the job. After his recovery he began driving the Amish of the valley to their destinations. Randall was a member of the Trinity United Methodist in Woodward, the POS of A, also in Woodward and the UBEW. He collected coins, was interested in antique cars and was a Philadelphia Phillies fan. Most of all Randall will be remembered for being a prankster and story teller.
Randall is survived by 6 daughters, Kathy Holt-Puff (George) of Centre Hall, Karen Saylor (Ben) of Beavertown, Kaye Keith (Bill) of Bellefonte, Karla Musser-Ensor (James) of Howard, Kelli Musser (Doug) of Aaronsburg and Krissy Norton (Russ) of Rebersburg; 3 sons, Randall W. Musser, Jr. of Milesburg, Richard W. Musser of Philadelphia and Regan W. Musser (Lisa) of Knobnoster, MO; 21 grandchildren, Misty Holt, Timothy Holt, Chelsea Puff-Moyer, Daniel Puff, Shaun Musser, Jessica Butts, Brandi Bush, Billy Keith, Kaycee Keith, John Tamburini, Brock Tamburini, Elizabeth Rogers, Bradley Musser, Amy Grace, Kaleb, Anna and Nathan Norton, Drake Stanley, Brittany Williams, Jessica Brown and Krystal Judd. Also surviving are 18 great grandchildren and siblings, Lois Runkle (Tom), Boyd A. Musser, Jr. (Gail), Dale Musser (Diane) all of Spring Mills, Robert I. Musser (Linda) of Aaronsburg and Lucille Arking (Robert) and Norma Mulvey both of MI. Randall was preceded in death by one grandson Jesse Keith and siblings Glenn Musser, Alice Sweeley and Feryle Winter.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim on Thursday, July 14th from 6-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Lutz officiating. Randall will be laid to rest in the Reformed Cemetery in Aaronsburg.
