Anna M. (Ertel) Snyder

Anna M. Snyder, 86, of Zion, passed from this life on Friday, February 2, 2018 at her residence.  Born March 22, 1931 in Rebersburg, Anna was a daughter of the late John and Edna (Limbert) Ertel.  She was a graduate of the former Miles Township High School in Rebersburg.  Anna was married to James M. Snyder, Sr. who preceded her in death. 

Anna is survived by one son, James M. Snyder, Jr. of Bellefonte.  She is the last of her family, having been preceded by siblings, Randall, True, Beatrice, Catherine, Lucille and Dorothy.  Anna was a homemaker all her life.  She enjoyed cooking and caring for her small family.  In her spare time she also enjoyed bowling, counted cross stitch and her church family at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hublersburg where she was a regular attendee.

A service in honor of Anna will be held at Hublersburg Reformed Church in Hublersburg on Saturday, February 17th at 11:00 am with Pastor Keith Koch officiating.  Anna will be laid to rest in Zion Cemetery.  Contributions in Anna’s memory may be given to Trinity U.C.C., 355 Hublersburg Road, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
