Gloria E. (Stover) Hosterman

Gloria E. Hosterman, 90, of Heath, Ohio, formerly of Lewisburg, PA went to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 3, 2018.  She was born on November 5, 1927 in Williamsport, PA to the late Ray and Verna Stover. 

Gloria is survived by daughter Joan Listebarger (Larry), granddaughter Cassie Miller (Jonathan), step-grandson Jason Listebarger (Shannon), step-granddaughter Kelly Irvin (Eric), and step-great grandchildren Taylor, Tyler, Kayla, Alexa, C.J., and in July of 2018 grandson Baby Boy Miller.  She is also survived by nephews Michael Stover (Gail) and David Stover (Sheryl), great niece Michelle Stover, great nephews Brian Stover (Julie) and Matthew Stover (Melia).  Preceding her in death was her husband Gordon Hosterman (married 68 years), parents Ray and Verna Stover, and brother’s, Malvin Stover (Bernice) and Guy Stover.

Gloria was a sweet, quiet, loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She worked many places throughout her life and enjoyed the friendships she made along the way.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, walking every day, doing jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzle books, bowling with friends, and listening to music of the 1940’s and Frank Sinatra. She was a member of Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church in Heath, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim, PA on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 10-11 am.  The funeral service will follow at 11:00. Gloria will be laid to rest in the Lutheran and Reformed Cemetery in Rebersburg, PA.  Contributions in memory of Gloria Hosterman may be given to the Foundation for Hospice of Central Ohio, PO Box 430, Newark, OH 43058 and the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Cincinnati and Columbus at 895 Central Ave. Suite 550, Cincinnati, OH, 45202.
