Dennis Marvin Lucas, 71, of Centre Hall, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at his residence. Born May 26, 1946 in Lock Haven, Denny was a son of the late Charles and Emma (Lomison) Lucas. He was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. Denny married Connie M. Bennett who survives at their home.
Denny was employed as a car salesman at Stocker Chevrolet. He was an avid Phillies fan and loved to watch old cowboy movies. When he was able, he also enjoyed golfing. Denny will be remembered for his sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, Denny is survived by one daughter, Denise M. Lucas of Columbus, OH; one son, Dennis C. Lucas (Michelle) of Centre Hall; one sister, Janice Stewart of Centre Hall, and one brother, Jack Lucas of Bellefonte. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Dalton, Melina, Garrett, Bennett and Matthew. Denny was preceded in death by siblings, Norma Rhoads, Marjorie Gardner, Robert Lucas and Alan Lucas.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 25th from 6-8 pm at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Denny may be given to The Hope Fund of Penns Valley, Po Box 427, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
