Linda Lamey Obituary

 

Linda A. (Perodeau) Lamey, of Spring Mills, passed from this life on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.  She was 62 years old.  Born June 7, 1956 in North Brookfield, MA, Linda was the daughter of the late Henry and Kitty (Blake) Perodeau.  On November 18, 1978, Linda married Ronald L. Lamey who survives at their home. 

Linda was employed as a School Bus driver for 27 years, 25 of which were in MA.  For the last 2 years she drove locally for Cole Transportation.  Linda and Ron lived in MA for most of their working life and then moved back to PA after retiring.  She enjoyed hunting, flower gardening, canning and playing cards with family and friends.  She was a fan of Penn State Football, but, most of all Linda loved to spend time walking outdoors with her granddaughter Maggie Rose and her canine companion Ona.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by two sons, Bradford H. Lamey of Spring Mills and Michael L. Lamey (Dana) of Aaronsburg; one sister, Louise (Perodeau) Brown; one granddaughter, Maggie Rose Lamey, and one niece Tracy (Brown) Blondin, her husband Michael and their children Jacob and Troy Blondin.

In accordance with family wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date.  Contributions in memory of Linda may be given to The Hope Fund of Penns Valley, PO Box 427, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
