Mary Elizabeth (Hartley) Brungart

Mary E. Brungart, of Rebersburg, passed from this life on Monday, June 11, 2018.  Born November 27, 1956 in Bellefonte, Mary was the daughter of the late Eugene and Faye (Keen) Hartley. 

She was a 1974 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.  Mary attained a Master’s Degree from Penn State University as a Rehabilitation Counselor.  She worked in the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation in Williamsport, retiring June 9, 2017.  On January 28, 1984, Mary was united in marriage with Dennis M. Brungart who survives at their home.  Mary was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church in Rebersburg.  She was an avid reader, having an extensive book collection, and she also enjoyed attending yard sales.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, there are no public services.  The Steven R. Neff Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
