Shawn Michael “Kitch” Kitchen, 40, of Lock Haven, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 3, 2017. Born December 22, 1976 in Monterey, CA. Shawn is a son of the late Allen H. Kitchen and Debora Kay (Moore) Kitchen of Lock Haven. He attended Bald Eagle Nittany High School.
In addition to his mother, Shawn is survived by one daughter, Tinesha M. “Nesh” Ardner; and her children, Piper and Paisley Patrick, of Lock Haven, and one sister, Tammi M. Moore and her sons, Daniel and Dayton Shook of Aaronsburg. Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Lula A. Moore of Mill Hall and Samuel “Ed” Moore of Boalsburg. Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Allen H. Kitchen, his paternal grandparents, Margaret and Arthur “Deke” Summerson; one uncle, Michael Moore; and one aunt, Cheryl Heverly.
Shawn loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, family and his special canine companion, Storm.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, December 7th from 2-5 pm at the Red Eye Center, 516 Canal Street, Flemington, prior to the visitation, which will be held from 6-9 pm at the Salvation Army Church, 119 East Church Street, Lock Haven. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Shawn may be sent to the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, Po Box 437, Millheim, PA 16854.
