At the age of 16 he made his way to New Jersey where he worked on the largest dairy farm of that time. He was an employee of the former R.E. Breon & Sons for over 20 years delivering oil in the community. Most recently he was employed by Keenan Trucking until his retirement where drove a tanker truck of jet fuel because no one else would do it. Arden enjoyed golfing, playing softball in his younger years, playing cards, and spending time with his buddies at the coffee club. He also enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves baseball and Green Bay Packer football. He dearly loved his dog, Dusty, who will miss Arden.
