Artenes W. “Buppy” Brindel, of Aaronsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He was 64. Born November 2, 1960, in Bellefonte, Buppy was a son of the late Anthony W. “Tony” and Isabel M. “Ripka” Brindel. He was a 1978 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School and Centre County Vocational Technical School now CPI, where he took electronics. Buppy married Kim Skiles who survives.
Buppy is survived by one daughter, Terra Saxion (Brent): one stepson, Ty Skiles (Lyda): three siblings, Selena M. “Kookie” Brindel (Don), Sebrena L. Confer (Wade) and Adrian C. Brindel. Also surviving is one grandson, James Lee Saxion: step grandchildren, Ryan, Reiley, Coulton and Clayton Skiles and his special canine friend, Thor.
Buppy had been employed as a purchasing agent at the former C-Cor Electronics, now Arris in State College. He was an avid music lover (IYKYK) and had a passion for muscle cars. Buppy enjoyed getting together with his friends and having a good time. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandson, James and his dog, Thor.
Family and friends will be welcomed on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 6-8 pm at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, 120 W Main Street, Millheim, PA. The Celebration of Buppy’s life will follow at 8:00 pm. Contributions in memory of Buppy may be given to the funeral home.
