Benjamin A. Yost

Benjamin Andrew Yost, of Millheim, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.  Born April 1, 1983, Ben was a son of John Yost of Spring Mills and Cynthia Yost of Millheim who both survive.  Ben was a 2001 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.

He had been employed as a short order cook.  Ben enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman, sometimes traveling to New York and Erie, PA to fish.  Ben enjoyed cooking for his family, especially at the family camping outings they enjoyed at Raystown.  He was an animal lover and loved spending time with his beloved pit bull, Izzadorah.

In addition to his mother and father, Ben is survived by two brothers, Joshua Yost (Jennifer) of NJ and Jonathan Yost (Ashley) of Spring Mills, along with his nephews Maddox and Jace.  He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A time of viewing and visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, 120 W Main Street in Millheim.  Contributions in memory of Ben may be given to Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, POB 437, Millheim, PA 16854.
