Betty Eileen Snyder, of Woodward, passed away Friday, March 28, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. She was 58. Born January 3, 1967, in Bellefonte, Betty was a daughter of the late Roy W. and Mary E. “Wolf” Snyder.
Betty was a driver for the Amish in the local community. Anytime any of her Amish friends or even her family needed help, Betty did what she could for them. She enjoyed flower gardening, crossword puzzles, feeding the birds and squirrels and watching the wildlife around her home.
Betty is survived by four brothers, Gary Lee Snyder (Bonita) of TX, Dana Dean Snyder of Woodward, Larry Wayne Snyder (Patty) of State College and David Ray Snyder of Woodward, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. The Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 am with Pastor Ken Freed officiating. Betty will be laid to rest in Woodward Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Betty may be given to Pets Come First.
