Bonnie J. Glaze, formerly of Millheim, passed away at the home of her daughter Terry after a short illness. She was 75. Born March 23, 1948, in Bellefonte, Bonnie was a daughter of the late Miles Wolfe, Sr. and Grace “Fryer” Wolfe. She was a high school graduate and went on to earn a nursing degree. She was married to James A. Glaze who preceded her in death.
Bonnie worked as a caregiver, babysitter and lastly a cleaning lady. She was employed at the Millheim Post Office. She was a member of the Millheim Fire Company ladies auxiliary. Bonnie loved to send cards to all her friends. You could always count on getting a birthday and Christmas card if you knew Bonnie. She was a friend to all and was always happy. Bonnie enjoyed attending the Covalt family gospel sings.
Bonnie is survived by two daughters, Pam J. Benedette (Willie) and Terry “Muff” Lear, both of Howard; one son, William “Bill” Wolfe of Millheim, and four siblings, Pat Boltz, Dorothy Smith, Rodney Wolfe and Miles Wolfe, Jr. Also surviving are two granddaughters, Sylvia Stover and Raina Dobransky and her special feline friend, Tard. Bonnie was preceded in death by a sister, Chick Wolfe and a brother, Terry Wolfe.
Bonnie will be laid to rest during a graveside service to be held at Heckman Cemetery in rural Spring Mills on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 11:00 am with Pastor Mike Covalt officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Bonnie may be given to PAWS, 1401 Trout Road, State College PA 16801.
