Brian D. Orr

Brian D. Orr, of Millheim, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at Mount Nittany Medical Center.  He was 61.  Born September 26, 1962, in Baltimore, MD, Brian was a son of the late Thomas Orr and Loretta Dixon.  He was a 1981 graduate of State College Area High School.

In 1985, Brian married Diane L. Gummo who survives at their home.  Also surviving is one daughter, Ashley Orr of Millheim; three siblings, Roni Francke (Rich) of Lemont, Tracy Orr of State College and Christopher Dixon of MS and one granddaughter, Makenna Sprowls.

Brian was employed as a Night Auditor with Courtyard by Marriott hotels.  He had to make the difficult decision to give up his job of twenty two years because of his health issues.  Brian loved all things Penn State, but mostly football.  He was a collector of vintage and antique items.  He took great pride in the maintenance of his home and yard.  Brian also enjoyed listening to 80’s music in his man cave.
