Cathy A. Zettle, of Centre Hall, passed away November 10, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 69. Born February 3, 1952 in Philipsburg, PA., Cathy was a daughter of the late Everett and Nellie “Mills” Mason. She was a 1970 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. On March 2, 1975 she married Donald R. Zettle who survives.
In addition to her husband Cathy is survived by two daughters, Chastity Houser (David) of Bellefonte and Valerie Wolfe (Matthew) of Spring Mills; four siblings, Connie Yearick (John) of Centre Hall, Charles Mason (Nancy) of Spring Mills, Dorothy Bloom (Rick) of Allentown and E. Jan Mason (Jenna) of Centre Hall; three grandchildren, Hayley, Logan and Aaron Wolfe; numerous nieces and nephews and her mother in law, Betty Zettle. Cathy was preceded in death by her father in law, Dean Zettle and a nephew, Bryan Yearick.
Cathy was an avid reader, enjoyed puzzles, camping, and playing cards. She was an enthusiastic supporter of her grandchildren’s sporting events. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Family and friends will be received Monday, November 15, 2021 at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim from 11:00 am - 12 noon. The Celebration of Cathy’s life will follow immediately with Pastor Chris Korn officiating. Cathy will be laid to rest in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Cathy may be given to The Hope Fund of Penns Valley, POB 427, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
