Dale H. Weaver, 85, of Aaronsburg, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at Mount Nittany Medical Center after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Aaronsburg on March 18, 1940, to the late Frank and Stella (Wance) Weaver. He was a 1959 graduate of Penns Valley High School. Dale married Sean L. (Dreese) Weaver, who survives at home.
He enjoyed watching football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions. Other past times included hunting, and car rides in the mountains. In his younger years one of Dale’s favorite hobbies was oil painting which he was actually pretty good at. He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness’ of State College.
Along with his wife Sean, Dale is survived by two daughters Tina Weaver and Wanda Fohringer and two sons, Steve and Michael Weaver, all of Aaronsburg. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Kyndra Weaver and Heather Woodring (Robert), and three great grandchildren, Madalyn, Kaylee, and Zachary. He was preceded in death by his son Timothy, and his siblings Gladys Miller, and Earl, Donald, William and Floyd Weaver.
At the request of the family, a Celebration of Life service in honor of Dale will be announced at a later date. Memorial contribution in his memory may be given to the American Cancer Society.
