Dallas C. Immel

Dallas C. Immel, Sr. of Millheim, passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, April 23, 2021.  He was 68.  Born November 5, 1952 in State College, Dallas was a son of the late Edwin W. and Lila Mae “Confer” Immel.  He was a 1973 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.  On August 23, 1996 he married Jean Devries who survives at their home.

In addition to his wife, Dallas is survived by two daughters, Ashley Immel Swindell (Curtis) and Cierra Immel; one stepdaughter, Krystal Corwin; two sons, Dallas C. Immel, Jr. and Vincent Immel; one stepson, Michael Corwin, and  one sister, Peggy Immel Hoover (Eddie).  Also surviving are grandchildren, Mersadeez Swindell Woodring, Marleigh Swindell, Dustin Immel, Caydence Immel, Jessica Immel, Ryleigh Eminhizer, Kyson Bunn, Myla Bunn, Gage Bunn, Ashton Immel and Sylvia Marie Immel.  In addition to his parents, Dallas was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Florence and Nels Confer.

Dallas was employed as a drywall hanger and painter in the construction industry.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and going for rides in the mountains.  He especially loved spending time with his family.
