David Robert Walker, of Spring Mills, passed away peacefully October 7, 2022 at age 75 after losing his battle with cancer. David was born January 21, 1947 at Lock Haven Hospital, a son of the late Lawrence and Kathryn “Sterritt” Walker. He was a 1965 graduate of Bald Eagle Nittany High School. David also served in the National Guard and was stationed in Germany and Korea.
David had many nicknames and was well known by them all. Some knew him best as Walker, Red, Panama Red, or the most famous “Buck”. David had many talents and skills. He spent his years working in construction and laying stone. He turned people’s dreams into reality that will last a lifetime. He was a good steward to the land he farmed and the pets he loved and cared for. He had a charming personality and was known for his witty comebacks. He never missed an opportunity to crack a joke to make those around him laugh. He was an avid collector of the Winchester brand, and always took the opportunity to learn and educate others about his passion.
David is survived by his wife, Etta Bamat, as well as three brothers, James, Samuel, and William; one sister, Margaret, and all his nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly. There will be no services at this time.
David will be missed by all……until we meet again.
