Donna Leigh Confer

Donna Leigh Confer, of Spring Mills, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025.  She was 68.  Born May 16, 1957, in Bellefonte, Donna was a daughter of the late Leo and Elaine (Shoener) Confer.  She was a graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.

Donna loved dogs and was self-employed as a dog groomer.  She was an avid horsewoman, having owned several horses over the years.  She loved to be outdoors, especially riding in the mountains.  At one time, she participated in barrel racing at the Dusty Boots Riding Club in Loganton.  You always knew Donna was around by her well-known laugh.  She especially loved spending time with friends and family.

Donna is survived by one daughter, Michele Stover; one son, Travis Stover; two sisters, Linda Decker (Ray) and Patricia Pisano (Andy) and three grandchildren, Sylvia, Riley and Vedder.

A gathering of family and friends in memory of Donna will be held at Pisano Winery in Millheim on November 8, 2025, beginning at 12 noon.  Contributions in her memory may be given to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Highway, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
