Dorothy A. Lorenzo

Dorothy A. Lorenzo, of Rebersburg, passed away January 11, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.  She was 77.  Born July 17, 1947, in Newton, New Jersey, Dorothy was a daughter of the late John and Frances “Widgren” Reckenthaler.  She was a 1965 graduate of Sparta High School in Sparta. NJ.  On January 24, 1970, she married Michael Lorenzo who survives.

Dorothy was employed as an office manager with Bollinger Insurance in Sparta, NJ.  She enjoyed Penn State sports as well as flower and vegetable gardening, putting puzzles together and playing scrabble.  She also worked alongside Michael when they lived on a farm.

Dorothy is also survived by one son, Matthew Lorenzo and his wife Heather of Mt. Joy; one sister, Judy Mitchell of Virginia Beach, VA and their beloved canine best friend, Casey.

In accordance with Dorothy’s wishes, there are no services.  Contributions in memory of Dorothy may be given to the Four Diamonds.
