Dorothy Mae Shoffstall

Dorothy Mae “Dot” Shoffstall, of  Wynwood-Salem Hill in Spring Mills, passed away November 8, 2020 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.  She was 96. 

Dot is survived by one daughter, Susan D. Kerlin of Millheim; two grandchildren, Amanda D. Kerlin, also of Millheim and, William D. Kerlin, II (Amelis) of Austin, Texas.  Also surviving is one niece, Jane Maul of Lancaster.

Born October 19, 1924 in Lancaster, Dot was a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Gertrude M. (Vatter) Shoffstall.  She was a graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster and was employed at Lancaster Malleable Casting Co. as a bookkeeper for 28 years.  Dot enjoyed bowling, traveling, puzzles and reading.

In accordance with Dot’s wishes there are no services. Contributions in memory of Dot may be given to Wynwood-Salem Hill, 424 Heckman Cemetery Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875
