Eddy L. Zalinski, III

Eddy L. Zalinski, III, of State College, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at Heritage Ridge Senior Living at Windy Hill in Philipsburg.  He was 53.  Born February 24, 1972, in Danville, Eddy was a son of Eddy L. Zalinski (Deborah) of Spring Mills and the late Laurie (Johnson) Zalinski. 

Eddy was a graduate of Wyoming Seminary Prep School in Kingston.  He then attended several colleges before graduating from Bloomsburg with a double major bachelor’s degree in philosophy and social services.  Eddy was employed at Penn State University in the library system.  He was an avid computer game player and book lover.  He loved animals and enjoyed chatting with people on the internet. 

In addition to his father, Eddy and stepmother, Deborah, Eddy is survived by his sister, Tiffani Zalinski; his aunt, Debbie Noonan and several cousins.  Eddy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edward and Frances Zalinski.

In accordance with Eddy’s wishes there are no public services.  Contributions in memory of Eddy may be sent to Pets Come First or to charity of donor’s choice.
