Eileen Boob Obituary

Surrounded by her loving family, Eileen B. Boob, of Aaronsburg, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026, at her home.  She was 91.  Born April 6, 1935, in Spring Mills, Eileen was a daughter of the late Guy and Anna (Gingrich) Eisenhuth.  She attended the former Gregg Township Vocational School where she participated in the marching band playing the French horn.  On June 27, 1953, she married James A. Boob who preceded her in death on April 11, 2010.

Eileen is survived by two daughters, Patti J. Lowe and Theresa E. Fry (Troy) both of Aaronsburg; one sister, Ann Knighton (Derrell) of SC; ten grandchildren, Jeremiah Loner, Jana Loner Jimmy Loner, Lisa Teater (Eric), Jerry Loner, Linsey Hawkins, Tracy Grubb (Ken), Jacob Lowe (Jen), Teri Shaffer (Jeff) and Melinda Shaffer (Pearl); 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by one daughter, Lois Loner; two brothers, Raymond E. and Larry F. Eisenhuth and one granddaughter, Jessica Dashem.

Eileen was an avid crafter, crocheting many afghans for family along with making doll clothing and beading.  She enjoyed playing Yahtzee, watching Atlanta brave baseball, bowling, attending Grange Fair and cooking for her family.  Eileen always helped in the apple butter stand at Dutch Fall Festival.  She was a longtime member of TOPS and the Millheim Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary where she helped with the bingo.  An avid butterfly lover, Eileen loved watching them along with the hummingbirds.  Most of all, Eileen enjoyed the time she spent with her family.

Eileen will be laid to rest during a public graveside service to be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Reformed Cemetery in Aaronsburg.  Contributions in her memory may be given to the Millheim Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, POB 656, Millheim, PA 16854.
