Eileen G. Clark

Eileen G. Clark, of Woodward, passed away at the home of her son after a valiant fight with cancer.  She was 80.  Born February 1, 1943, in Sellersville, Eileen was a daughter of the late Harvey and Viola (Walp) Gerhart.  She was a graduate of Souderton High School.  On June 1, 1963 she married James F. Clark who survives. 

Eileen was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church in Coburn.  As a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, caring for her home and children and helping those in need.  She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing cards and scrabble.  Most of all Eileen enjoyed time spent with family and friends.

Eileen is survived by three sons, Brian S. Clark (Ellen) of Orlando, FL, Michael J. Clark of Wildwood, NJ and Matthew S. Clark (Lisa)of Woodward; three siblings, Carl and Mark Gerhart and Mary Whittam (George); six grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Michael, Jr., John, Cameron and Kylee.  Also surviving are five great grandchildren, Ryan, Payton, Drew, Liam and Otto.  Eileen was preceded in death by one brother, Eugene Gerhart.

In accordance with Eileen’s wishes, all services are private.  Contributions in memory of Eileen may be given to Penns Valley EMS, 106 Ross Hill Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875 or to the Hope Fund of Penns Valley, POB 427, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
