Elizabeth M. "Liesel" Fryer

Elizabeth M. “Liesel” Fryer, formerly of Coburn, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at Juniper Village at Brookline in State College.  She was 99.  Born March 24, 1926, in Kaiserslautern, Germany, Liesel was a daughter of the late Fredrick and Katherina “Scharding” Maier.  She was married to Charles W. Fryer who preceded her in death.

Liesel was a homemaker.  She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening and doing yardwork.

Liesel is survived by one son, Jake C. Fryer (Lynne) of Georgia: one granddaughter, Lindsay K. Fryer of CA and one great granddaughter, Stella Fryer of CA.  In addition to her husband, Liesel was preceded in death by son, Frederick C. Fryer. 

In accordance with Liesel’s wishes, all services are private.
