Gladys Ann Corl, formerly of Rebersburg, passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Wynwood House at Salem Hill Haven. She was 86. Born January 27, 1940, in Bellefonte, Gladys was a daughter of the late Richard Stanley and Gladys Amanda (Packer) Brooks. She was a graduate of Penns Valley Area High School. On July 23, 1958, she married Earl Kenneth Corl, Sr. who survives.
Gladys was employed as an assembly line worker at Hanover Foods in Centre Hall. She was a member of the former Evangelical United Methodist Church in Rebersburg. She enjoyed spending time at camp and attending the Grange Fair. Gladys loved quality time with her family, especially preparing large Sunday night supper.
In addition to her husband, Gladys is survived by one daughter, Belinda Rimmey (Doug) : two sons, Earl Corl, Jr. (Missy), and Scott Corl (Jackie) and seven grandchildren, Nathan Rimmey (Kylie), Brandi Lewis (Andrew), Amanda Gray (Justin), Brittany Corl (Justin), Anthony Corl (Abby), Zachary Corl (Averi) and Blake and Ashtyn Wray. Also surviving are eleven great grandchildren, Cory, Shalyssa, Anthony L., Shane, Isabella, Addison, Aaron, Kayden, Wells, Haidyn and Charlotte. Gladys was preceded in death by three sisters, Miriam Marshall, Gloria Haines and Nancy Yearick.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 10:00 am until 12 noon at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. The funeral will follow at noon with Pastor Rich Cox officiating. Gladys will be laid to rest in the Evangelical Cemetery in Rebersburg. Contributions in her memory may be given to UPMC Home Healthcare & Hospice, 20 Sheraton Drive, Altoona PA. 16601.
