Ina R. Bechtol

Ina R. Bechtol, formerly of Millheim, passed away January 2, 2024 at Riverwoods Senior Living Community in Lewisburg.  She was 95.  Born November 7, 1928 in Centre Hall, Ina was a daughter of the late Winfield and Cathrine “Yearick” Bartges.  She was a graduate of the former East Penns Valley High School.  She was married to Stanley E. “Short” Bechtol who preceded her in death.

Ina was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Millheim which later merged with St. James U.M.C. in Coburn.  Ina was a homemaker and enjoyed raising plants.  She especially loved music.   

Ina is survived by one son, Marty E. Bechtol (Susan) of Nags Head, NC.  In addition to her husband Stanley, Ina was preceded in death by her sister, Tess Hartle and her brother, Woodrow Bartges.

In accordance with family wishes, all services are private.  Ina will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.
