Jennings Bryan Wolfe

Jennings Bryan Wolfe, 92, of Millheim, passed away August 20, 2021 at Centre Care in Bellefonte.  Born July 30, 1929 in Shintown, Clinton County, Jennings was a son of the late John P. and Bertha M. “Steiger” Wolfe.  On June 14, 1956 in Bel Air, MD, Jennings married Betty L. Bowersox who survives in Millheim. 

Jennings served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.  He was employed as a Telephone Engineer for Henkel’s & McCoy retiring in 1997. In his younger years Jennings enjoyed hunting, fishing and planting a large garden.  He was of the Lutheran faith and was a member of the Millheim Fire Company.  He enjoyed watching the Little League World Series, soccer (which he played in high school) and, he especially loved watching Steeler football.

In addition to his wife, Jennings is survived by one daughter, Tracy Wolfe of Bellefonte; one son, Adam Wolfe of Millheim; two grandchildren, Ethan Wolfe of Bellefonte and Mackenzie Boyde of MA, along with his former son in law, Tim Boyde. Jennings is the last of his family having been preceded in death by all his siblings, along with one daughter, Tina Wolfe and his favorite canine companion, Millie.

In accordance with Jennings wishes, all services are private.  He will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jennings may be given to Pets Come First, 2451 General Potter Hwy, Centre Hall, PA 16828 or to Penns Valley EMS, 106 Ross Hill Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
