Judy L. Bartley

Judy L. Bartley, of Spring Mills, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at her residence.  She was 79.  Born March 11, 1947, in Bellefonte, Judy was the daughter of the late James A. Stover, Jr and Bernice I. Stover.  Judy was a 1966 graduate of Penns Valley High School.  She was married to Robert Bartley who survives at their home.

In addition to her husband, Judy is survived by one daughter, Julie Long Aldrich (Randy); one son, Brian Long (Johana), both of FL; one stepdaughter, Tracy Hagelyans (Artie) of Spring Mills; two stepsons, Kenny Bartley of Lewistown and Kerry Bartley (Brandy) of Milesburg; one brother, James Stover III of Aaronsburg and one sister, Vickie Stover Eaton of Howard.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. 

Judy was employed at Merle Norman/J.C. Penney’s at the Nittany Mall, a job that she enjoyed very much.  She retired from there with 25 years of service.  She was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Millheim.  Judy enjoyed decorating her home, going antiquing and refinishing furniture.  An avid animal lover, Judy is also survived by her faithful canine companion, Shep. 

A public graveside service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Fairview Cemetery in Millheim with Pastor Michael Covalt officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Judy may be given to Penns Valley EMS, 106 Ross Hill Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
