Kenneth W. “Frog” Strouse, formerly of Spring Mills, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.  He was 70.  Born May 31, 1952 in Bellefonte, Ken was a son of the late Walter R. and Betty M. “Breon” Strouse.  He was a 1971 graduate of Penns Valley High School and the former Centre County Vocational School where he studied welding.

Ken proudly served his country in the U. S. Burd and lastly, Zimmerman Trucking where he had 20 plus years of service.  Ken enjoyed being outdoors.  He loved to hunt and especially hike Mt. Washington in the White Mountains.  He was a member of the Gregg Township Fire Company.  Ken enjoyed spending time with his family and playing Santa Claus for his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ken is survived by one son, Jonathan Marino (Amy) of New Jersey; siblings, Ronald Strouse (Tammy), Patricia Strouse and Dennis Strouse all of Spring Mills.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Jacob, Abby and Christopher Marino.
