Kerry L. Horner, of Spring Mills, passed away unexpectedly December 29, 2022. He was 63. Born October 16, 1959, in Bellefonte, Kerry was a son of the late Marcellus E. and Betty J. (Sweeley) Horner.
Kerry was a 1977 graduate of Penns Valley High School. After graduation, Kerry served our country in the U. S. Army from October 5, 1977, until May 21, 1984. He was self-employed as a carpenter. Kerry was a member of the Smith Pletcher American Legion post 779 in Centre Hall and enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his friends.
Kerry is survived by four sisters, Judy Musser (Byron) of Gettysburg, Sandra Puff (John) and Gena Horner of Myrtle Beach, SC and Esther Horner of Williamsport.
Kerry will be laid to rest with military honors during a public graveside service to be held January 23, 2023, at 10:00 am at Heckman Cemetery in rural Spring Mills.
