Linda K. Mercer

Linda K. Mercer, of Rebersburg, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Centre Care in Bellefonte.  She was 74.  Linda was born November 3, 1951, to the late Russell and Evelyn (Strickler) Confer.  She married John Mercer who preceded her in death. 

Linda is survived by one daughter, Teresa Borden of Rebersburg: two siblings, Bernadine Gilbert of Boalsburg and Russell Confer (Gail) of Rebersburg: three grandchildren, Carl Borden, Zachery Borden (Taylor) and Vincent Knepp (Nikki) all of Rebersburg.  Also surviving are great grandchildren, Hashton Borden and Nirvana Knepp.  Linda was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Confer, two sisters, Shirley Flasher and Marion Dean and one brother-in-law, Joseph Gilbert.

Linda enjoyed crocheting, reading books, cooking, baking, hiking and swimming.  Linda had a strong faith and loved reading and studying her bible.  She especially loved creating many memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.  Contributions in memory of Linda may be given to Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, POB 437, Millheim, PA 16854.
