Margaret E. (Bonson) Condo

Margaret E. Condo, formerly of Spring Mills, passed away Friday, October 1, 2021 at Wynwood House in Centre Hall.  She was 92.  Born December 9, 1928 in Brown Township, Mifflin County, Margaret was a daughter of the late Jacob C. and Martha M. “Boyer” Bonson.  She was a 1946 graduate of the former Centre Hall Potter High School.  On November 26, 1947, Margaret married Lawrence L. Condo who preceded her in death on April 10, 2002.

Margaret was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church in Aaronsburg and the Gregg Township Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.  She enjoyed gardening, embroidery, chair caning and in her younger days, refinishing furniture.  Margaret also enjoyed Grange Fair, spending time with her sister Barbara, along with family and friends.  Margaret was a loving wife and mother to her husband and four daughters.  

Margaret is survived by three daughters, Donna Carper (Michael) of Aaronsburg, Judith Homan (Jerry) of Centre Hall and Laurie Condo (Lisa) of Puyallup, WA; four grandchildren, Michael Carper (Shelley), Brett Homan (Rosemary), Corey Homan (Michele) and Sheila Radzonowski (Martin).  Also surviving are three great grandchildren, Owen, Joshua and Sarah along with one great great grandson, Carter.  Margaret is the last of her family having been preceded in death by siblings, James C. Bonson, William F. Bonson, Lester B. Bonson and Barbara E. Bubb.  Also preceding Margaret was a daughter Audrey J. Condo. 

The family would like to thank the staff of Wynwood House and 365 Hospice for the excellent care given to Margaret.  In accordance with family wishes all services are private.  Margaret will be laid to rest in Heckman Cemetery.  Contributions in her memory may be given to Salem Lutheran Church, c/o Karen Stover, PO Box 700, Aaronsburg, PA 16820.
