Mildred R. “Becky” Musser, of State College, passed away Monday, November 20, 2023, at her home. She was 88. Born June 3, 1935, in Unionville, Mildred was a daughter of the late Fred and Emily “Hall” Tice. She was a graduate of the former Miles Township High School in Rebersburg. She was married to Guy W. “Ozzie” Musser who preceded her in death.
Mildred is survived by five sons, Gary W. Musser (Gean) of Hampton, VA, Richard O. Musser of State College, Stephen M. Musser (Amy) of State College, Kenneth L. Musser of Lemont and Russell A. Musser of Hampton, VA; two siblings, Faye Biggans (Andy) of Snow Shoe and Nelson Tice of Runville; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by a grandson, Geremiah Musser, two great grandchildren, Michael Bayer V and Annabelle Bayer and twelve siblings.
Mildred and Guy lived in many different states and England while he was in the military. She was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of Guy and her five sons. She cooked and canned the fruits of their labor that were raised in the garden. In her spare time, she enjoyed word search puzzles, babysitting, and various arts and crafts.
A Celebration of “Becky’s” Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim with Pastor Greg Milinovich officiating. Together with Guy, Mildred will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery. Since Mildred was a breast cancer survivor, contributions in her memory may be given to the Susan G.
