Obituary

Nancy A. Pecht, of Rebersburg, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Senior Living.  She was 82.  Born November 27, 1940 in Rebersburg, Nancy was a daughter of the late George and Marjorie (Saucerman) Bigelow.  She was a graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.  On July 1, 1961, she married Eugene C. Pecht who survives at their home. 

Nancy had been employed as a secretary at the State College Area School District.  She also worked at Penn State University and the former HRB Singer, now Raytheon.  Nancy was a caregiver and delivered Meals on Wheels for a short time.  She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Keystone Post #444 in Millheim.  She participated in a lady's bowling team at Millheim Lanes and in her younger years she enjoyed playing softball.  She loved to feed the birds, especially hummingbirds. 

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by one son, James A. Pecht (Lucille) and one grandson, Branden Pecht all of Texas.  She was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Burke. 

In accordance with Nancy’s wishes there are no services.  She will be laid to rest in Fairview West Cemetery at a later date.
