Paul E. “Skinner” Moore passed away May 10, 2021 at his home in Beech Creek. He was 66. Born January 11, 1955 in Lock Haven, Skinner was a son of the late Samuel E. Moore, Sr. and Lula A. “Gorham” Moore. He was a 1972 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.
Paul was employed as parts manager at the former Catherman’s Garage in Aaronsburg, he also built silos and worked for a logging company. His last employment was driving the Amish. He was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ. He enjoyed playing darts and pool. Paul will be remembered for playing Santa Claus for the Millheim Fire Company.
Paul is survived by three sisters, Debora K. Kitchen of Lock Haven, Jennie L. Frees (Jim) of Millheim and Lillian Rodarmel of Selinsgrove; one brother, Samuel E. Moore, Jr of Mill Hall and, Paul’s companion, Bobbi Sheaffer of State College. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by one brother Michael Moore and one nephew Shawn Kitchen.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-12 noon on Friday, May 14, 2021 at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim, followed by the funeral service at noon with Pastor Russell Maldovan officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Sunnyside Cemetery in Mill Hall at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Paul may be given to Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, Po Box 437, Millheim Pa 16854.
