Paul A. Smith, Jr., of Aaronsburg, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He was 75. Born March 2, 1948, in Bellefonte, Paul was a son of the late Paul A. Smith, Sr. and Hazel E. “Winkelblech” Smith.
He was a 1966 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.
Paul had been employed as a machinist at the former Cerro Metal and Brass works. He was the owner of P&K Collectibles. He loved all sports, but basketball, football and NASCAR were his favorites.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Lori Smith of York; one brother, Ian Springer (Liz); three grandchildren, Leah Perko (Steve) Ronald Rauba and Cheyenne Stephens and one great grandson, Avery Rauba. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, from 10-11 am at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service with Pastor Teresa Hockenberry officiating. Paul will be laid to rest in the Reformed Cemetery in Aaronsburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Paul may be given to The Hope Fund, POB 427, Centre Hall, PA 16828 or to the Penns Valley EMS, 106 Ross Hill Road, Spring Mills, PA 16875.
