Paul E. Paul served our country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as an Assistant Vice President with the former Omega Bank, now First National Bank.  Paul was a member of the New Hope Lutheran Church in Spring Mills, the Penns Valley Grange #158 and the Pomona Grange #13 where he was the Pomona Grange Master for one year.  Because Paul was the Pomona Grange Master his responsibilities that year included being in charge of the Grange Fair at Centre Hall.  He was also a former treasurer of the Madisonburg Water Works.  In his free time, Paul was an avid gardener, he enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and was a member of the local card club.

Paul is survived by one son, Douglas Wasson (Chris) of Burnham; one daughter, Marion Snavely of Sunbury; one sister, Phyllis Evey (Jerry) of MI; five grandchildren, Kylie Bortner (Tony), Emily Shapard, Tyler Wasson, John Snavely (Stefanie) and Paul Snavely and seven great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife Paul was preceded in death by siblings, Nadine Ross, Janet Devinney, Joyce McCool and Ivan and Richard Wasson.
