Surrounded by his loving family, Robert R. “Bobby” Musser of Aaronsburg, passed away at his home on Friday, August 11, 2023. He was 36. Born May 31, 1987, in State College, Bobby was a son of the late Robert I. Musser and Margaret E. Ross of Aaronsburg. He was a 2006 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.
Bobby had many joys in life. He loved riding the ferris wheel; therefore, going to carnivals and Grange fair were two of his special loves. One time a ferris wheel was rented for him and he rode it for hours. He loved going to the Millheim Pool and sporting events at Penns Valley, with girls’ volleyball being his favorite sport there. He was a huge Snoopy fan, loved animals, Penn State sports, Atlanta braves baseball and Green Bay Packer football. Bobby had a famous saying, “you’re fired”. When he walked across the graduation stage at Penns Valley, the whole class stood up and yelled “you’re fired Bobby”, he yelled right back, “no, you’re fired”.
In addition to his mother, Bobby is survived by his mom’s partner, Mark Hosterman, who was always there for Bobby; two sisters, Melanie Auman (Andy) and Mandy L. Chaplain (Chad). Also surviving is Bobby’s stepmother, three stepsisters, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and some very special friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Robert I. Musser, brother, Michael Musser, maternal grandparents, Bob and Grace Ross and his aunt and uncle, Charles and Gloria Ring.
