Roger J. "Gupp" Boob

Roger J. “Gupp” Boob, of Millheim, passed away surrounded by loved ones on May 8, 2026.  Born December 26, 1959, in Lewisburg, Roger was a son of the late Charles O. and Mary A. (Dorman) Boob.  He was a 1977 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.

Roger is survived by one son, Dustin Boob (Ashley) of Rebersburg; two brothers, Carson E. Boob (Brenda) and Samuel C. Boob (Patricia) both of Spring Mills, and four grandchildren, Lucas, Hoyt, Adalyn and Raelynd.  In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda.

Roger was employed as a transport driver by Ingram Fuels.  He prided himself on keeping a clean, well-kept vehicle, whether it was his or the company truck he drove.  He enjoyed tinkering on cars and working in the shop.  In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and had raced occasionally at Beaver Springs Dragway.  Roger was a member of the Millheim Fire Company.  Most of all, Roger enjoyed helping his son Dustin on his farm and spending time with his grandchildren. 

Friends and family will be received at Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 10: 00 am until 12 noon. The Celebration of life service in honor of Roger will follow at noon with Pastor Theresa Heiser officiating.  Roger will be laid to rest in the Reformed Cemetery in Aaronsburg during a private burial.  Contributions in memory of Roger may be given to the Millheim Fire Company, POB 656, Millheim, PA 16854.
