Rose Marie Smith

Rose Marie Smith, of Bellefonte, passed away December 26, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.  She was 67.  Born June 28, 1958, in Bellefonte, Rose was a daughter of the late Bruce and Betty (Emmil) Long. 

Rose was a homemaker.  She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing bingo and collecting porcelain dolls.

Rose is survived by four children, Jennifer Page of Philadelphia, Harold Smith (Samantha) of Spring Mills, Jason Smith of State College and Matthew Smith (April) of Spring Mills; three brothers, Allen Long (Loretta) of Julian, Ronald Long of Lock Haven and Michael Long (Darlene) of Clearfield. 

Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, Danielle, Calab, Cameron, Alexiyana, Skakira, Jocelynn, Guiness, Colton, Greyson, Brooklyn, Memphis, Sarah, Joshua and Chloe and four great grandchildren, Jamall, Adrianna and Nevaeh and Robbine.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 10:00 am until noon at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim.  The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor Michael Covalt officiating. Contributions in memory of Rose may be sent to Steven R.
