Stephanie A. Auman, 79, of Spring Mills, passed away November 14, 2024, at the Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born February 3, 1945, Stephanie was a daughter of the late Stanley E. and Gwendolyn “Knoff” Treaster.
Stephanie was a graduate of Penns Valley High School. On September 13, 1962, she married Harold L. Auman, Sr. who survives at their home. Also surviving are two children, Edith Swank and Harold L. Auman Jr. both of Lewistown; one daughter in law, Toni Shaffer; two grandchildren, Madison Auman (Troy) and Nathan Auman (Maryah) all of Mill Hall and one great granddaughter on the way. In addition to her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia O’Donnell and Linda Wells; two brothers, William Treaster, and Clifford Treaster; one son in law, Thomas Swank, and one grandson, Dylan Swank.
Stephanie enjoyed gardening, taking walks, reading, making sure she had her make-up and nails “just right”, spending precious time with her grandchildren and especially watching her grandson Nathan play in the Bellefonte Little League when he was younger.
In accordance with Stephanie’s wishes, services are private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Stephanie can be given to the Dylan T. Swank Scholarship Fund. Make checks payable to Central Pa. Institute and mail to CPI, 504 N. Harrison Road, Pleasant Gap, PA 16823. On the memo line write Dylan T. Swank Scholarship fund.
