Thomas Evans Obituary

Surrounded by his loving family, Thomas E. Evans, of Spring Mills, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at his home.  He was 64.  Born May 19, 1957 in Bellefonte, Tom was a son of the late Harry R. Tom was self-employed as a livestock hoof trimmer.  He was a classic car lover and enjoyed working on and restoring classic cars.  Tom also loved being outdoors in nature with hunting being a favorite leisure activity, along with attending classic car auctions and the Nittany Antique Machinery Show at Penns Cave.  When Grange Fair came along he enjoyed reconnecting with family and friends and watching the truck and tractor pulls.  What Tom enjoyed most was spending time with his children and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother and wife, Tom is survived by five daughters, Ashley Shaffer, Kahla Hockenberry, Alicia Reich, Taylor Muth(Steven) and Jewel Scott; four sons, Lukas Evans, Jared Evans (Ashley), Jordan Evans (Caitlin) and Garrett Evans.  Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Emma, Nicholas, Ryan, Victoria, William, Tanner, Nolyn, Issac, and Grace, along with siblings, Tammy E. Myers (John), Harry E. Evans (Brenda) and Larry D. Evans (Helen).  Tom was preceded in death by three brothers, Timothy E. Evans and twins, Rodney A. and Richard S. Evans.
