Vivian “Biff” Josephine Myers, passed away on February 6, 2026, in the comfort of her and her husband’s farm in Coburn. Born June 18, 1957, in Mifflin County, Biff was the daughter of the late Cloyd Albert and Lula Idarose (Powers) Shawver. Biff married Martin Charles Myers who survives at home.
Some will remember Biff’s days as a janitor at Penns Valley Area School District while many more will remember her 25 years at Penn State. She retired from Penn State in 2015 with 36 years of service in the workforce. Biff was always ready and prepared to lend a helping hand to her community. She held a deep compassion for others and loved everyone just like Jesus.
Biff is survived by two sons, Paul Martin Myers of Coburn and Kris John Myers of Aaronsburg: one daughter, Carrie Marie Myers of Coburn, as well as 6 brothers and sisters. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Biff was preceded in death by one grandson, CSS Trey Shawver of North Carolina who served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Wasp.
A public graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Old Salem Cemetery in Milroy.
